A gigantic flock of crows (corvus corone), at least 100 birds, circling right over our house at lubeck, germany. Hasty recording, therefore some rumbling at some points, but a nice clear recording nonetheless as they circled very near. Recorded on zoom h2.

A giant flock of birds flies over, making many sounds. Recorded in australia. I have no idea what kind of bird this is, but it sure does make an interesting noise!.

Outside my gym is a large tree or bush and every night in the summer months a swarm of sparrows invades the bush. Hundreds of birds disappear into the thick hedge for the night. The sound is unique and overwhelming. There is an sporadic wind sound but a few long sections without.

As starlings migrate south for the winter, millions of them like to stop over parts of maryland and nestle in the trees. The sound of their chirping can be deafening. Someone decided to launch bottle rockets into the trees to scare them off. It doesn't sound like it worked does it? enjoy!.

A flock of geese honking

Small flock of seagulls, 10-15, flying round making noice. Aprox. 3-50 m from my zoom h4n. Recorded in a city. City ambience and some from a nearby building site. Use however you like.

I used a bandpass filter of 50 bandwidth at 475 hz on audacity to transform a goat "baw". The sound isn't too unusual, just a little more hollow than the original due to the very small spectrum i use. There are two goats.

All week, flocks of corellas (a type of white cockatoo found in australia) were filling the air and so was their screeching sound. They would frequently perch in trees and take off again, making everyone in the neighbourhood look outside their windows.

Literally hundreds of thrushes gather in a small forest, some background noise from a nearby road and some occasional water droplets hitting the microphone. Recorded with zoom h2n.

This one has a very vocal blackbird finishing off the evening (8pm). All recorded whilst staying in a converted barn in rhos, wales. Recorded on my zoom h4n, there maybe some wind noise in places and maybe a very high flying jet, but mostly it is just the sound of nature. There is a nearby stream in the background too. Murmuration in ireland, on the electricity lines behind my house. Must have been at least one thousand starlings. In this you'll hear them tweeting etc and a whole bunch of them flying. Recorded in stereo on zoom h4n. Some low cut filtering used but nothing else. I have 13 continuous minutes of this so if you need more, just ask lol.

A murder of crows, loud, right before a rainstorm / an airplane passes overhead. Unintelligible voices in a room nearby. Crickets (late evening) recorded on zoom h6.

I tried to get a surround recording using mics, but there was a horrible street musician playing off in the distance. I thought it wouldn't be clear in the recording, but one of the mics picked him up quite well. The recording was ruined, so i did a little processing at home and came up with this freaky bit for your listening pleasure. Not sure if it's usable beyond listening, tho. . .
